This graphic novel is a concept work, featuring the interpretation of the script, the illustration art, and the lettering work of Jerry Collins. Its purpose is to set my script into visual form and to open the world of the characters to the reading public.
Half Moon Werewolves explores the lives of twins, Nathan and Cynthia, born to a werewolf who had volunteered to be part of a Cold War project to turn werewolves into super soldiers. The project was not shut down at the end of the Cold War - it was just deferred.
A publication of the script will be released in the fall of 2018 as an educational aid for those who aspire to write their own graphic novels, so readers can compare the script to the artist's interpretation of it.

I am an instructor and happen to have the author of this book in my class. He shared with me when asked if he had any hobbies that he was a writer and author of a book. So I purchased the book and began reading and found that it was so interesting I couldn't put it down. It was a great read with a great storyline. This is a great story; you don't have to suspend too much disbelief to wrap your head around Cold War experiments developing super soldiers gone awry. The dialogue is crisp, the pace good, and the family dynamics are a wonderful background to the action. Wish the whole thing could have been in color, but the black and white illustrations are well-rendered.
This was a fun read, anyone 13 and up may enjoy. The illustrations are well done with a good storyline. All in all, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys graphic novels or even just wants to read something different.
I hadn't read a graphic novel in a while, but a picture is worth a thousand words, as long as the words tell a story, right? I went on vacation and cracked my edition expecting something different just from the ideas on the cover. The story then turned my head around at least three times with the plot twists and by the end I had become involved enough to want more. The made it easy to see the artwork details and the whole production made me realize I have been missing out on graphic literature and the entertainment of watching characters on the page come alive. Best book of my vacation.
